Library In keeping with the school's nautical design, this library provides its K-5 students with a "ship-like" setting. The storytelling area is situated in the "bow"of the ship, a glass enveloped geometric protrusion from the building, paying homage to Salem's rich maritime history. These unique features were able to remain as key elements in the school's program as a result of KVA's proactive efforts with the team to develop a comprehensive design which adhered to the budget. |
