KVA provided Owner’s Project Management services for the new Ambulatory Care Building at Boston Medical Center. Construction of this 250,000 square-foot building involved deep foundations, terracotta rain screen, and curtainwall with terracotta shade system. Additionally, major underground utilities were relocated while maintaining Level One trauma center operations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Shapiro Ambulatory Care Center project concluded with $6,000,000 in savings.
harvard pilgrim healthcare corporate headquarters
KVA provided Owner’s Project Management services for the remediation of this 4-story office building. The Harvard Pilgrim Headquarters contains a parking structure, surface parking, and is located adjacent to a highway intersection. The project was completed 6 weeks ahead of schedule, and $1,000,000 under budget.
greater boston musculoskeletal center
KVA provided Owner’s Project Management services for a new 66,000 square-foot ambulatory surgery and imaging center. The project consisted of an eight-OR ambulatory surgery center with imaging, walk-in clinic, and medical office space.
whittier street health center
KVA provided Owner’s Project Management services during the permitting and pre-construction phases with design oversight, MA DPH approval, contractor selection, and development of GMP pricing for the new 80,000 square-foot, five-story building on a small 27,060 square-foot BRA urban site. The project had an extremely tight schedule with permitting taking just over 4 months and a construction schedule of 13 months. The facility was designed to achieve a LEED Silver NC Certification and meet the requirements for NSTARS’ Advanced Building Core Performance Program.
